The principle in one sentence
A site whose product is teaching people to verify cannot also sell placement to the people being verified. Everything below follows from that, and none of it is negotiable at any price.
The list
- Clinic listings and directory entries. Not at any price, not labelled, not alphabetical, not in any form. We cannot verify a clinic, so we cannot list one.
- Featured, sponsored or premium placement for any provider of aesthetic treatment.
- Lead generation and enquiry forwarding. No form on this site collects details for onward sale, and none ever will. There is no lead form here of any kind.
- Sponsored articles and sponsored guidance. No article here is paid for, suggested or reviewed by a commercial party.
- Badges, kitemarks, verification marks and awards. We issue none, and we would not sell one if we did. A mark sold to the subject of verification is the exact failure this site exists to explain.
- Backlinks and link placement. Every external link here is nofollow and none is sold.
- Reputation management, review services and content removal.
- The subscriber list. It is not sold, rented or shared, including with newsletter sponsors.
- Influence over guidance. No commercial arrangement can change a word of a verification procedure. If it could, the procedure would be worthless and so would the arrangement.
- Keyword advertising. We buy none.
What we sell instead
Two lines, both away from patient facing guidance.
A paid professional register of indemnity brokers, medico legal solicitors and training providers, sold on disclosed verifiable identifiers, alphabetical, labelled paid, never ranked, on its own page. It is currently empty because no entry has completed verification, and we will not pre fill it.
A labelled sponsor line in the newsletter at a published rate, with a published list of what it cannot buy.
What we get asked for
The requests arrive in a predictable order: a listing, then a sponsored guide, then a badge, then a link. The answer to all four is the same, and it is published here so that the answer does not have to be given four times.
If you represent a clinic or a group and want to be helpful rather than listed, there is one thing that genuinely helps: answer the written questions on this site, in writing, quickly, for every patient who asks them. That is worth more to your prospective patients than any entry we could sell you.
What this costs us
It is worth being direct about it. Clinic listings are the obvious business model for a domain with this name, and refusing them costs more revenue than everything we do sell. We publish that because the refusal only means something if the cost is visible.
